take action? California Healthy Pets Act (AB 1634) is an important bill that would require all dogs and cats over four months of age adopted or purchased in California to be spayed or neutered (with some exceptions). This would dramatically reduce the number of homeless dogs and cats killed in California shelters, saving hundreds of thousands of animals' lives every year! AB 1634 has passed the Assembly and needs to be passed by the Senate. Please "Take Action" to urge your California Senator to support this bill
That's really amazing and i'm glad people are taking this action. I don't live in California however– but I am happy to know people are try to help animals and reduce the population of homeless dogs and cats. Awesome!!! References :
This is a wonderful step in the right direction and I will support it all the way! I do love my "mutts" though which are byproducts of "oops" situations and I would hope that we could continue to have some mixed breeds in there! Thanks for posting this! References : Owner of 2 rescue dogs
I am praying with all of my might that it does pass. We NEED this bill, and the opposers are only passing around hot air because they don't want to lose their "rights". What rights??
Call your California Senators and ask them to please support this wonderful bill!!!!!! References :
