when you exercise AND strain a muscle you leak lactic acid into it. besides protein intake after a workout, eat a bowl of cereal that is high in fiber. the fiber will replace the acid leaked into the muscle and heal it quicker.
References :
Are there any other way to make you muscle heal faster after a workout beside high protein intake?
Ive been lifting weights for about 3 years now. When i do squats i keep at a good weight and make sure im not over doing it but i really would like for my muscles to heal faster so i can get back to my normal workout.... Maybe some herbal or special foods would help if you know of any.
