forget the equipment! i did lunges in my back yard…rode my bike for 3 miles a day, did situps pushups, and also a few other stretches…(wanted to do the splits) works as good as spending hundreds of dollars…good luck!
only way it will work is if you are dedicated! dont give in…even if you dont shed 20 pounds all of a sudden! keep up with it, and im sure youll do great!

The best way to build muscle at home would be to eat a lot of protein (like eggs or protein shakes) and then i wouldnt use any machines, instead use dumbbells and get a benchpress olympic bar and weights, Also pushups are a very good way too. I wouldn’t use machines because with free weights you have to balance wich makes it harder wich builds more muscle.

DEFINITELY go with free weights. Those gym systems are ridiculous… free weights not only 1. build up your stabilizer muscles way more than machines, but also are:
2. not as expensive
3. not as limiting… you can do a HUGE variety of exercises
4. they work out both sides equally (even if, for eg. one arm is slightly weaker). With machines, the stronger arm can take over the work and you get unequal development.
Get free weights. Workout. Eat like a machine, especially if you’re a hard gainer like me. And you WILL put on muscle.
