There are 3500 calories in a pound.  In order to maintain your ideal weight you have to eat your weightX15.  So if your ideal weight is 150, you would have to eat 150X15=2250 calories a day to MAINTAIN that weight.  That&#39;s assuming you&#39;re doing a normal amount of exercise.
