Why did the lights in my 1999 Chevy Malibu quit working?
Here's the list of symptoms:
My daytime running lights wont switch over.
My tail lights wont turn on.
My head light selector on the column does nothing.
The fog light switch does nothing.
The dimmer for the interior lights does nothing.
My instrument cluster has no lighting.
My A/C and Heater knobs doesnt light up.
Service Vehicle Soon light is on.
I already replaced the multi function switch in the column and it didn't fix anything.
Only thing I've really done to the car is add on my aftermarket CD player.
Any ideas of where to start?
I've kind of ruled out fuses since so many things quite working at once and as far as I can see, none of them are on the same relay.
Thanks in advance!

try this…remove the cd and hook everything back as originally found…if still problems at least you know it wasnt caused by that. then check for grounded out wires…loose wires…burned out wires…test computer in motor…is power going to fuse box?
