Hey James,
You are on to something good here. I just picked up a 35 pound kettle bell a few weeks back. What a workout! Go to Youtube.com and check out all the videos that explain how to use them and how they work. Instead of isolating one muscle, you are using more different muscles. It is a lot more fun too.
