I put up all sorts of material here about fitness, diet, conditioning….. But the real reason that I am interested in all this stuff is because I want to apply it to be fit enough to do and enjoy the things I love.
And I love being in the mountains.

If God is testing us, what exactly is he testing, and why is this test so very important?
In your humble personal opinion do the people who pass this test deserve heaven and the people who fail deserve hell? Why or why not.

The only way you can get to heaven in Christian faith is to believe that Jesus is your savior and He loves you.
When God tests you, He's testing your faith and integrity.

To test our faith. When he tested Abraham, he had asked Abraham to sacrifice his only son, so when Abraham was about to do it, he stopped him to only say "Now thou has shown his fear to the Lord, and thou shall keep thy only son Isaac, may you live a long everlasting life.

hmmm… I dont think is so much as a test- I think that also we dont deserve anything. Because we all have sinned we all deserve to die, but when Jesus came he took that and made it so that we dont have to die forever. What determines if you go to heaven or hell is if you really believe that Christ is your savior and if you truly believe that he has saved you, and you accept him- then you will live your life accordingly. IF we can do this then because of God's grace we get to live with him forever- even though we deserve nothing at all.

the question is not how do you deserve it because the second you were born god excepted you into the kingdom of heaven and if you except him into your life you will be with him when your life ends. what he is testing is to see how you make a difference on other peoples live and how you deal with the situations you are put in. he doesn't make a relative have cancer the actual disease does that what he will do is see how you react. and don't worry a slip up does not result in instant smiting because he knows we sin as all humans do and always will. good luck on your spiritual journey:) god bless

i dont think that god would send people to hell i mean nobody can be perfect and also he is testing us and i dont know wat ppl will say about this but if u belive that armageddon is coming then its gonna come soon they are already trying to ban religion in connedicut then they will ban all religon in other places then war breaks out :l and they say its gonna be worse then the holocost

If there is a god, and that god is omniscient, he/she/it would have no need to test us. That kind of god (ie: the one worshiped by western religions) would already know whether you will pass or fail the test, and has known since the beginning of time.
This is part of why so many people have trouble with the biblical stories pertaining to punishment of large groups of people, such as the story of the flood. God would have known, before creating Adam, that he was going to wipe out mankind. Why did he bother creating Adam instead of just skipping straight to Noah?
Basically, you're asking the type of question that has led a lot of people to realize that western religion is false. Good for you for asking, it's important to evaluate your own beliefs.

We think we are testing ourselves because of guilt and the feeling we need to prove ourselves, with the possibility of failure. But God sees us as perfect as when He created us.
We all have a need to learn and correct our stinking thinking, but these lessons come daily with no authority wanting to fail us but ourselves.

Very often when we go through a test it proves our faith to ourselves. At least in my life. As for whether I or anyone else deserves heaven, the short answer is "NO". Fortunately it's not about what I deserve, it's about what Christ did for me. His sacrificial death and resurrection and His faithfulness are what I depend on.

I believe in spirits and that people can believe what they like. The scriptures have been altered so may times in the past to suit whichever religion they belong to.
Ashes to ashes and dust to dust is what I believe. Once you die, it is over. Personally, I feel there is no heaven or hell, it is IMHO something that gives people something, some way, or some direction in their life. Burning in hell has a way of scaring people to be better than the next person. Going to heaven is coaxing people to always do right so they can live gloriously in an after life.

Since we are born sinners, we all deserve hell. But, because of God's amazing love for us, He sent His son to die for us so that we could live with Him in heaven. You cannot earn your way to heaven; it is a gift from God that we have to receive.

I am a Theology minor so I may be able to help you. God sees by the way we live our life and then God sees if we go to heaven, hell, or possibly purgatory. If we have done all good in our lives and have ultimately made it the what we were most concerned with in our lives, we can spend all of eternity with God. If we have been bad people and never cared about what God would want us to do, we would go to hell. If we lived an okay life, then God would give us a second chance to better ourselves and we would also rely on the prayers of others to get us out of a place called purgatory and into heaven.
I believe, if someone has lived a good life, they deserve to spend all of eternity with God. If a person lived a horrible life, they deserve to answer to God for it. If the person has lived an okay life, then they do deserve a second chance to better their soul. I hope I was able to help you! : )

I wanna share some of my information with you, this is one time chance for everyone of us so if we do good or bad it is passing if we rich or poor again it passes, help someone or do some destruction, built some good thing or destroy, loving or hating. Lets do some real act some says that take one stick with you while you go through this jungle there will be animals on the way, some are listen to him and get one stick and other the one they don't believe they don't get stick, on the way there is no animal, the one who get stick just having their stick, if there is animal on they way, the one how got stick they are safe and the one with out stick problem, so try to have the stick. I mean do good if no paradise nothing we lost..

adam and eve were tested for … obedience. they failed.
well, in abraham, it was the test of … obedience. he passed with flying colours.
since every christian MUST live by the Laws of God, eg. 10 commandments, our daily life is a test in itself till we die.
why is the test so important ..
every soul is here on earth to choose bet. God or satan.
those for God will be tried and tested … to remove all the gross of sin. therefore, keeping the 10 commandments is critical to achieve this goal.

We will never understand everything that God does. Thats why He is a mysterious God
So I have my own conclusion to this question hehe but it makes sense.
Lets see God was in heaven and created angels in heaven in the first place. Not humans. The Devil (one of the angels) turned against Him and fought against Him. God created him so imagine how much He loved him but eventually He had to through him out of heaven with all those other angels thats on the Devils side. Imagine how much He loved them too.
I guess that God didn't want anything bad in heaven again so He placed them on Earth to see which ones are the good creations and which ones is the bad creations, but I dont think there is good or bad. I think the Devil makes them that way. Just look what the stupid Devil did to Adam and Eve. Ai!
But if people can survive the test on Earth, then He knows for sure they wont do what the Devil did
That's why I say
Life is an exam minus the cheet sheet.
I just think He doesn't want anything bad to come in heaven and take away so many angels like the Devil did

Sadly, the original story has gotten lost within the fable of man-made religion which states that GOD says to us *Do as I command or you will be punished*…
That is very much a 3D illusion, for God is Pure Unconditional Love, which does not judge or threaten or condemn, but simply Loves without conditions and endlessly forgives..It is the church which teaches fear, judgement, threats and condemnation, NOT God….
So when we live our lives with Love, as Jesus taught, we align ourselves with God and with life..As we live our lives, we create within us a frequency of Love or lack of, and when we vacate our physical form at death we naturally gravitate to that level in the world of Spirit, or Heaven, which equates to our level of loving..(*In my Father*s House are many Mansions*)
The world of Spirit or Heaven has countless levels from the lowest which could be described as hell like but without fire, to the highest and beyond which are beyond description..
The *experiment* which is Earth involves humans coming to Earth *blind*, in other words unable to remember their true past, power and purpose, (which our 3D body and brain hide from conscious us) to see whether we will gravitate towards living with that Love which is within or ignoring that small inner voice and living only for self..
So one can almost say that Heaven and hell are reflections of our state of mind, for by how we live our lives so do we directly create the conditions of our future..
We are all spiritual beings within temporary physical bodies, and spiritual us lives MANY times, and never dies!..Each of us is a Child of God with a Spark of the Divine within us, which is our *aliveness*, consciousness and conscience, and it is this spiritual part of us that naturally survives death of the physical, as well as leaving each night when our physical body needs to rest and recuperate, leaving us asleep and unable to respond until spiritual us returns in the morning and we reawaken..
God is not a person, but is part of us, for nothing exists BUT God, of which every Being and everything is created..That*s why God is sometimes known as All That Is..We have been greatly misled by manmade religion..

First off, you're assuming that god exists.
Second, ancient people created god and religion to explain all those unexplainable things that happened in nature that they didn't have the words, wisdom, and intelligence.
