How do I pull apart unbreakable drinking glasses? I bought these 'unbreakable' tumblers and stacked eight of them together. Now, I cannot get them apart. I am a twenty three year old male and this is not exactly doing wonders for the ol' manliness. Somebody help me out here, will ya?
first poster is correct. i would have suggested ice and hot water, but it's the same idea. shrink one, expand the other.
is that french tempered glass? i love that stuff as i shouldn't be allowed around breakable glasses. i've literally bounced mine on a tile on concrete floor. but they still expand and contract. References :
We put ice, salt and cold water in the inner glass, then we dunk the lower (outer) glass in very hot water. With a slight twisting motion, the glasses should come apart. References :
.Try putting in a cool place like freezer, then try or try sliding a very thin piece of plastic down between them as this can break the suction, As this is what is holding them together References :

Very cold water on the inside and very hot water on the outside and then pull.

Put cold water in the top one and run water in the bottom, or it is the opposite, well play with warm and cold water until you can get them apart.
I used to have the problem, but it was a long time ago, so my memory of solving it is vague.
I am sorry i couldn't help more.

Try using WD-40 or 3-In-1 light machine oil on the drinking glasses that are stuck in a stack.
These products can easily be washed off once the glasses are apart.
I sincerely hope this helped you.
