why do people refuse to hear the only truth about weight loss? that is to burn more than your base calorie needs in a day.
(work out your bsm online)….and thats it.
aim for 500 less than your bsm do some exercise and you'll lose 2lbs of fat or a week.
eating way less your body will think its starving and hoarde fat, and use up muscle.
no atkins, no south beach, no cabbage soup diet (even the name…jeez people are stupid!).
nothing that wants your money.
but people refuse to see it?
why is there this refusal to face the truth.
p.s. this has come about due to an idiotic conversation with a friends sister. she is on a brenstien no fat, no carbs diet (you need fat and carbs btw). but chooses to believe them who want hundreds of dllars, rather than me who is slim and wants no money.

i hear you!!! i used to not eat to "lose weight" and not exercise. now i see it, i work out everyday and i eat very healthy and also drink at least 80 oucnes of water a day. and i feel great.
i guess i used to refuse to see the truth of losing weight and being healthy because i wanted to see results in a day and was too lazy to get off my ass and run! References :
She realize you were right when she fails at this gimmick… on second thought, she'll probably try another gimmick b/c that's what people do; they don't want to admit that to lose weight, you just have to burn more than you eat. Argh! References :
people are lazy and in general will always try to get out of doing something hard or challenging even if it is optimum.
I see people here post questions all the time when they really don't want the "right" answer. many are just looking for someone to agree with their logic or methodology for weight loss and to agree with them. References : BS Exercise Science

well it is most like hard for people to realize about weight loss. Some times people have to hear the music and realize that it dosent really matter about weight loss. People that are over weighted get a big fit easily cause it is hard for them. References :
Sometimes that hardest thing is to work. Exercise is not a fast overnight fixer upper it takes a lot of time and commitment. These companies pray on people that have at least 3 or 4 deadly sins covered. Why be sensible and lose 2 lbs at a time when you can lose 5 or 10 by doing without certain foods, I mean why should they have too go to the gym to work that piece of toast off it would be just as easy to give toast up altogether. Which sounds logical and rational to anyone in our instant microwavable society.
Bottom line: Let people believe what they want and if they ever ask just say I like my food and I love my body and I am commited to keeping both balanced. As nature has intended. That's why I am on the human natural diet when they ask tell them about it. References :
Just because you're eating right and exercising everyday, doesn't ultimatly mean that you are healthy. It takes more nutriants then you think for your body to be "healthy." If we all ate as much food as it takes to become healthy (healthy food that is) then we would all overweight. Being thin and being toned doesn't mean you're healthy. I eat right and exercise everyday, but for most people, like myself, that wasnt enough. I still felt like crap, always tired, still had allergies, headaches, constant yeast infections for no reason at all, but I thank God, that I did my research and took back my health, I feel wonderful, the best I have ever been, and I even have to lil kids to chase around the house. Even after they go to bed, I still have energy. Wanna know how, email me, ill tell ya. References :
Let ME tell you a truth. I am on WEIGHT WATCHERS and they the diet is working very well for me. I eat right, I exercise, I drink water and I am down 24 lbs since Jan. 2007.
The cost is $17 online. I do not go to meetings. I eat virtually anything I want, just less of it. I bless the day I started on the WW flex plan. This is my truth. References :
