Shoulder health

My left shoulder sometimes bothers me a bit…tight muscles in the upper back I reckon - and as i’ve got older, exercises for joint health rather than ego big muscles have become more important.

I now regularly include face pulls (described here) with a resistance band, YWLTs, stick ups (as prescribed here) and rotator cuff exercises which Rob from Mountain Athlete calls the Shoulder Hand Job…..er right

    Shoulder health?
Ok well about a year and a half ago i injured my shoulder and the doctor told me it was tendonitis. So i rehabed it and it felt fine. Now im playing baseball again, and when i throw normal velocity i feel it but it doesnt hurt that bad. Now im trying to get back into pitching, and the past few times ive tried it it went well but when i threw as hard as i could i felt a pop as i released it then a grinding sensation afterwards when i shook it out. It doesnt hurt but it kind of strikes me as odd. ( No S***) Does anyone know what this may be, and other than go to a doctor can anyone give me a tip to help?

<>If you are serious about playing ball, you should be just as serious about your shoulder. Find a good orthopedic doctor and get his/her opinion. Soliciting help on this forum will get you a ton of opinions which may or may not help.

Sounds as if it is slipping in the joint you, might want to try some sort of shoulder support brace when pitching.
