you would be in better shape if you worked out everyday.but, it isnt good to do that because even though you lose more weight, you might be very tired or get dehydrated.maybe start with 3 days a week, then go up to 5 but always give yourself time to rest.if there is one day where you just dont want to, something horrible happened, or your too tired, give yourself a break...drink tons of water!
References :
At fourteen you can afford to work out everyday if you want, but it's also okay for you to take a day off every once in a while. It's good to let your muscles relax. Just remember that building muscle is good, but if you build up too much and stop working out, it turns to fat. To get lean build up to a reasonable number and do a high number of repetitions.
References :
Every other day, if you exercise everyday your body gets used to it quickly and then the point of the exercise whether it is to lose weight , build muscle or whatever is defeated. You body will become used to the exercise and it will become less effective each day. It would also be good to change exercises every month or two.
References :
probably 4 or 5 times a week. if you workout everyday you'll overwork your muscles which will mean if you keep working out when they're overworked you wont see any results. the muscle's first priority is too heal its self before it can build anymore and eating healthy is also important when you're on a routine (not just not eating)
References :
You could just do different muscle groups different days.
And if it's fitness workout you mean, the more you run the fitter you'll get.
check out scoobysworkshop.com. It's free advice from a bodybuilder. He gives so much info and he's not trying to sell you anything.
References :
5-6 times per week would be the best. try to go your hardest the first few weeks and once your in shape you can reduce it to every other day. i've been working out for a month and a half by doing this and can lift way more than i had back then, and already have a six pack. good luck !
