Never Eat These 3 Foods
There’s not a lot of things that you shouldn’t “ever” eat.
In fact, I’ve never been the “never” type of guy. Pretty much EVERYTHING is good in moderation … and even most things that seem to be unhealthy … have some health benefits when used in moderation. Stuff like …
Drinking alcohol …
Eating saturated fat …
Smoking certain [...]

What foods never cause allergies in babies (breasfeeding Mom)?
My 3 month old baby has ezcema really, really badly. I’m breastfeeding. The doctor says he is probably allergic to something I’m eating. So, I’m not eating any milk products, nuts, eggs, chocolate, or citrus. It doesn’t seem to be working though-he still has bad ezcema.
What foods can I eat that are proven never to cause allergies?I would like to go on a diet of just these foods in hopes his ezcema will go away.

if your diet isnt working, why not just give up breastfeeding and give him formula instead to see if it goes away. thats the only way you will know for sure its you and not something else wrong with him.

sometimes the ezcema is not caused by nursing some babies jsut haev a lower immune system- what goes into your breastmilk doesnt go into your baby- what goes into your blood goes into your baby-if your baby was allergic to your breastmilk you would most liekly see it in her stools- dont listen to the poster about formula- i would just use seom baby aveeno for ezcema- try taking vitamin e supplements

Don’t you love how whenever you have a problem with nursing people pop up and say you should wean? What a bunch of quitters, haha!
The tricky thing is that all babies are different. Some women go on extreme elimination diets, you’ll need to research to figure out what will work for you. I’m linking a great article. It’s quite detailed.
That being said, it may not be anything you’re eating, it could be environmental, like your detergent, certain fibers, etc. I agree with Jillian as well.

I know that soy, wheat and corn are a few other foods that commonly cause food sensitivities in breastfed infants.
I have also heard people mention garlic.
I am not sure there are any foods that are guaranteed NOT to cause a sensitivity!! Thankfully neither of my boys ever had a problem with my diet (although my youngest did get a bit gassy if I ate chocolate!)
I would recommend speaking with the pediatrician again. They will probably have some more suggestions and advice, I am sure they encounter this type of situation a lot! Good luck

being that i come from a mother with eczema, and have minor psorosis myself, breastmilk is hardly ever the cause for flare ups, its usually an issue external to the body, such as laundrey detergent or babys bath solution
